The fabric for headboards<\/strong> does little work but is highly visible: it is the surface guests look at first when they enter the room, and the one they lean back against. For the suites of a boutique hotel, headboards and wall panels were made in Vogue fabric<\/a>, Perla colour.<\/p>\n Choosing a velvet for a headboard is aesthetic before it is technical: the iridescent surface changes tone with the light in the room, and the velvet\u2019s \u201cwriting\u201d effect gives depth to a panel that would otherwise be flat.
