This notice explains what personal data this website collects, why, for how long and what rights you have, as required by Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 (GDPR). It applies to visitors to the website and to anyone who writes to us through its forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you write to us from the Contact page or ask for a quote for a custom job, we collect the data you enter in the form: name and surname, company, email, phone, subject, message and any project files you attach. We need them to reply to you and to prepare the quotation. The legal basis is your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The message reaches us by email and a copy is stored on the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you request a sample pack from the moodboard, we collect name and surname, company, email, phone, shipping address, any notes and the samples you chose. We need them to prepare and ship the pack and to confirm the shipment; the legal basis is your request. To prevent repeated submissions, the website keeps your IP address in encoded form for three minutes and then deletes it automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you send an order from the Order page, we collect the data you enter in the form: company name, contact person, email, phone, VAT number if you provide it, delivery address, the articles with their colours, quantities and any prices, and your notes. We need them to check the order, confirm prices, availability and delivery, and carry it out. The legal basis is your request and the contract that follows from it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The order reaches our office by email with the PDF attached, and a copy is also sent to you, at the address you entered. The order and its PDF are stored on the website, in an archive reserved for those who manage it. If you only ask for the PDF preview, the data is used to build the file and is neither stored nor sent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To prevent duplicate or too frequent submissions, the website keeps your IP address in encoded form for ten minutes and then deletes it automatically. If you leave \u201cRemember my details\u201d ticked, the form details also stay in your browser for your next order: the Cookie policy explains how.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first time you order from a browser we email you a 6-digit code, and the order is only sent when you enter it on the page: this way we are sure it really comes from whoever reads that mailbox. We do this in our legitimate interest in preventing fake orders (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The code stays on the website in encoded form for at most 15 minutes. To limit requests, the website counts for one hour how many codes are sent to the same email and from the same IP address, both in encoded form, and then deletes them automatically. After verification your browser keeps a technical cookie that recognises it for 12 months after your last order: the Cookie policy explains how.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address to send you catalogue news, material trends and offers reserved for professionals. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email. Together with your email we record the date and IP address of the subscription, as proof of consent. Our emails may contain tools that tell us whether a message has been opened and which links have been clicked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The server hosting the website automatically records some technical data about each visit, such as the IP address, the browser type and the pages requested. This data is needed to run the website and protect it from abuse, in our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and is not used to identify you. The website does not use analytics or advertising tools. Cookies are described on the Cookie policy page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the Browse by colour page you can take or choose a photo to find the closest colours in the catalogue. The photo is read only by your browser: it never reaches the website and we do not store it. If you use the camera, your browser asks for your permission first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The data is processed by the Linea Pelle srl staff who handle requests and shipments. It is also processed on our behalf, only as far as necessary, by the suppliers who help us do so: the website hosting service (Aruba S.p.A.), the email provider, whoever looks after the technical maintenance of the website, and couriers for shipments of samples and orders. We do not sell or pass on data to third parties for marketing purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The website and the data it collects are hosted on servers located in the European Union. The map on the Contact page is provided by Google and only loads if you choose to open it: in that case Google\u2019s rules apply, as described in the Cookie policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can ask at any time to access your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict its processing, to object to processing and to receive it in a readable format (Arts. 15\u201322 GDPR): just write to info@lineapellesrl.it. If you believe your data is being processed incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Providing data in the forms is optional, but without the required fields we cannot reply to your request, ship the samples or handle the order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
